特徵描述

生活型

tree-shrub

形態特徵

  • Shrubs or small trees; branchlets glabrous.
  • Leaves coriaceous, oblong, oblong-lanceolate or oblanceolate, 5–15 cm long, 1.0–2.6 cm wide, glabrous, apex acute with obtuse tip, base cuneate, margins entire, lateral veins many, inconspicuous.
  • Inflorescences fascicles or umbellate, on axillary short spurs. Flowers greenish white or purplish red; calyx lobes nearly free, ovate, sometimes punctate, ciliate; petals united to 1/4 their length, elliptic or oblong, 2–2.5 mm long, usually black-punctate, densely papillose inside.
  • Fruit globose, 4–5 mm across.

分布

  • 台灣 : widely distributed.
  • 世界 : Eastern Asia from Indochina through China to Japan.
